I'm not sure which version is more true to life, but I liked the color a bit warmer, so I decreased hue a tiny bit, and increased saturation about +20. Hope you like it.

I first converted the image into Lab colourspace, took it's luminosity channel and converted back to rgb. There I've added a new, empty layer with multiply as blending mode. I've added a mask to it which I filled b&w bitmap and inverted it. Then I filled the empty layer with a brownish colour to get the sepia-like tone. Finally I added a curve for a bit more brightness and contrast.
(there may be other b&w conversions that work just as well or even better)

I used a very fine sharpening and some contrast.

Changed also to a neutral sepia tone.

Maybe you like the idea ?
