Intro: Hi! I stay in Calcutta, working in the telecom sector. Have always liked taking pictures since I was around 13 years old. My first camera was a fixed focus 35mm with 3 settings - normal (sunny), cloudy and flash. This used to give me brilliantly coloured pictures, especially of skies and clouds (have always been fascinated by these ever since!). Then I graduated to a Konica 35 MM automatic (auto film advance, intelligent focussing) but somehow I never got enough clarity from this one.In 2004 I moved to my first digicam, a HP 3x optical 3MP (Photosmart M305), again getting great clarity and even good macros. This conked out and I got a free replacemnt from HP, but this too conked out soon! Though I have to say, it was a wonderful little piece of equipment. After that I moved to Canon Powershot 5MP ,only digi zoom, pathetic - this actually was our office camera and I used it mainly on offical trips and functions ;-). Meanwhile, I found that my Nokia 6233 2MP gave me some wonderful pictures and relied on it for sometime till I bought my Fuji Finepix S8000FD, which is just a few months old and as yet unexplored to it's full potential.
