- Traveling is my absolute passion and photography a close second one. During my childhood I have traveled a lot, mainly in Europe. As soon as I started working I tried to have assignments abroad. In this way I have seen every continent and many countries. The total number of countries I have visited up to now amounts to 73, but there are still many more to explore!
I was born in Amsterdam, a city I still regard as the most wonderful in the world. I live with my wife in a village near the Northsea shore in The Netherlands. Now that I am retired, we can fly away whenever and as long as we want.
I have taken pictures all my life, mainly colour slides. Only in 2007 I started working digital. I hope to learn from this site and look forward enjoying pics of places all over the world from other fellow travelers and photographers.
