Cropped to medial section.
Selected sky.
More contrast to the sky.
Then selected the rest and brightened it.
Finally +20 saturation to the whole picture.
Added a frame.

flipped it...naughty boy..if you shot is a record shot you cant do this..but for impact..imho its better to 'read' a photo left to right...like a book..normally top to bottom as well.
you can see what i cropped concentrating on the tree and its reflection and the end of the canal..cutting down a bit on the sky and doing a 1/3 viepoint stance..mid shots seem to work for railways only..for me anyway
a frame is fun to do and can help the pic..couldnt make this bigger as it degraded...

Hi Patrick..I liked your photo and i thought that maybe a workshop could be useful..This is my view..I hope you like it..

I had adjusted the colour levels a bit.I also adjusted the light and the shadows of the photo and used a photo filter..
