The original was taken at dusk and had almost no colour I did not like the earlier ws I had done so I thought I would try out soemthing different. Mostly it is selective saturation have increased the green and reds. Adjusted levels and also used brightness and contrast. Used a blue filter after selecting the sky and some of the water.
Then copied a part of the house flipped it over and pasted it under a copy of the picture of reducing the opacity till the pasted house showed under it. Then gave it some gausian blurring effect and some rippling just a bit of tomfoolery I think I should have done the vegetation on the side as well to make it more realistic

I increased saturation after selecting the colours adjusted the levels and contrast then pasted the original on a lower layer while reducing the opacity of the saturated layer

I felt the original did not show the flamingoes to the best so I cropped it tighter, selected colours and darkened them used curves, the copied image and with the darker image in the background set screen mode and saved it as jpeg.

I used picasa's auto exposure, and also cropped the picture on picasa, there was some noise in the sky which I used paint bucket in photoshop to cover... just wanted to get a close up of those camels really.

Just played a bit with the colours selecting and darkening them though I feel the result is horrendous I am unable to get the colours i want
