Often makes a good shot better. It's most ideal function, it seems to me, is to make hazt aerial photos beautiful. A possible down side to autoequalize is on monochrome cloud shots etc. where it sometimes overpowers the shot into an almost false-color and very 'noisy' photo.

I´ll make my first workshop for you if you don´t mind.
First af all I crop a little,so i obtain a tighter crop.
Second, I increase the saturation,the bright and the contrast.
Third,I turn few degrees to the right(like the clock turn) because I think the building was a little bit incline.

First thing that you notice about this shot is that it is quite slanted. So I rotated it a few degrees and recropped it. Also cropped it down a bit extra to give it a more panaramic look and hopefully add a bit more dynamic to the shot. It also takes out the blue on the top which emphasises the smog. Then I added a bit of saturation and sharpened it just a bit. Hope you like it.

I found that your photo showed a remarkable occasion and just needed some adjustment to enhance this.

First I cropped the 'empty space' off the top to balance the image. Then I adjusted levels (brightness/contrast/saturation) trying to get the snow white, but maintaining the Mediterranean feel at the bottom. Finally ran 30% NeatImage and post-pro sharpening at 40%. All in PS7.

I think I achieved what I set out for - what do you think?

After the useful critique of Christophe (rhizomes), I decided to (try to) correct the quality of this photo, mostly by reducing red colour.

Using Red in Channel Mixer I applied:
Red +68%
Green +18%
Blue +20%
Constant -12%

Then I increased Brightness by +10 and Contrast by +3 and finally saturization by +40

As a last thing, I resized it to TE allowed size and sharpened.

In Photoshop 7 : I increased the contrast and saturation a bit, decreased brightness and sharpened to 30%.
