Noise and perspective correction | nmess
(2267) [2007-02-15 21:34:22] [3] | | Fist I corrected the perspective to compensate for the wide angle. I then used the noise reduction filter to get rid of some of the noise that was there. I cropped and resized back up to 800 wide. Finally I applied USM to sharpen it. |

 rotate, adjustments | nmess
(2267) [2005-10-09 00:05:33] [1] | I thought this could use a bit of enhancement, so I rotated 1 deg left.
Then added a little contrast and saturation before a small amount of sharpness added. |

 Crop and clone | nmess
(2267) [2005-05-17 23:20:22] [2] | I first cloned out the pile of gravel to the righ. Then I cropped the road out and resized back up to the original width. I adjusted the levels a bit to increase the saturation.
I think it would be much better from the original image, but hope that might give you some ideas on composition. |

 general adjustments | nmess
(2267) [2004-12-14 23:17:58] [3] | Using PSP I started by cropping to improve the framing and eliminate some uninteresting space.
I then added an adjustment layer to add some brightness and contrast to the bird, while leaving the sky as it was.
I then increased the saturation a bit to bring out more of the color.
I resized it to bring it back up to max size.
Finally I added USM to bring out more crispnes in the image. |

 Adjustment Layer | nmess
(2267) [2004-10-07 20:05:13] [1] | Dennis,
I added an adjustment layer, darkening while leaving the contrast be. I using the eraser, I erased the darkening in selected areas leaving the sky alone. I then merged the layers, used the auto color satuation feature and added some USM to sharpen the image just a little. I hope this helps. |
