| Intro: | Born in the United States, Michael Morrissey is considered one of the new generation of adventure and travel photographers. He resides in both Bangkok, Thailand and California, USA. Michael got hooked on photography while driving a bus from Istanbul to Katmandu in the 70’s; an obsession interrupted with a twenty year career in business. Michael Morrissey’s interest in photography grew out of an interest for exploring cultures and communicating with people. The culture and travel photography he is most interested in focuses showing people of different cultures and their environment, as well as an expression of some of the moments he has had while traveling. On 23 November 2007 he survived the sinking of the M/S Explorer in Antarctica. Read the full story on his website. Visit www.mjmorrissey.com | |
