Thanks to Claudias critique I looked back on the original RAW file and have reduced contrast. Due to the use of the polarizer filter the original was significantly underexposed. I brightend the dark areas soflty and did not sharpen after resizing like in my original post.

There is a HUGE amount of cloning in the original. This image should be removed by its owner.

I think it is a great photo whith the plants and the cobblestone beach. But I found the upper right corner a bit empty. I tried cropping it and think it gives a more intense experience now. In the crop I wanted the plants to stretch out over the center of the image.

Editing with Irfanview Freeware. Conversion to Tiff for editing - Decrease in gamma and blue, increase in contrast and green. Sharpening 1 point, then reconversion to JPG and resizing to TE limits.

i just play with curves in photoshop, remove noise on sky and use unsharp tool
i had desaturated a little bit
a ws just for fun.
