Intro: Hello, my name is Dietrich Meyer. I live in Marly (Switzerland). I am a biologist. For my travels on the Silk Road from Switzerland to China I used the bicycle. This puts a constraint on the weight of the equipment I can carry along, a compact digital camera must do. I am constantly on the lookout for interesting things, be it mountains, monuments or magic moments. Unfortunately my photographic skills need a boost.

I will be glad to look at, and comment on, pictures from you. But I will shun those authors who don't comment on their pics properly. Many of us want to know "where" and "how". You can communicate with me in either french, german or english. Messages in other languages are also welcome, I will try to translate them.
