Intro: I live in Virginia, USA, where I did my undergraduate and graduate work. I have worked in a variety of professions, including teaching at secondary level, real estate, and both state and federal government.

My passions include boating, sailing, water skiing, travel and most recently photography. My first camera was an analogue 35mm Canon. Two years ago a friend/photographer talked me into the Nikon Coolpix 8800 - a cross between a point and shoot and a DSLR. It takes incredible photos and I became mesmorized with digital photography. Recently I purchased a Nikon D80 with an 18-200VR lens and it is difficult to put down!!

I look forward to sharing and learning thru this site which I was introduced to by Bulent Atalay batalay. His postings on this site are amazing. He is an incredible professor, intellect and artist.
