Hi Dave. I just did what i said, cropped the guy on the left out, but his knee was still in the frame so i did some horrible cloning work, but you'll get the idea. Hope you don't mind, and may even like it ;o)

Contrast Masking (Photoshop) and nextly ran through NeatImage... Both the original and this WS seem to breathe different atmoshperes, don't you think so?

Hi David, I flushed the work that i had done on your pic but i appreciate the fact that you answered me back. Here we go again....
I rotated 1%
croped the pic,
ran into neat image to reduce the noise,
used the path tool to remove the dust,
added saturation,
used unsharp mask.

I added some blue, autoadjusted brightness, and removed noise.

Hello,

I've worked with Photoshop.

I tried to crop lights, "antens" and the three factory chimneys on the right.

I've keept the dark area (which gives a lot of character at your shot), getting "a clean base". You're right, it's difficult to do such shots, in a town like Barcelona.

Use of (tampon de duplication in french) touch by touch trying to keep natural sky.

Hello David,

I've tried to give some corrections to the distorsions of your photo. I've used Photoshop.

1) Use of "fluidity" filters touch by touch to get the skyline more right on the left

2) Same tools used for the right part of the shot (dark peninsula)

3) Sharpen Edges only applied to some parts (dark ones), to enhance the contrast without getting too noise (skyline not sharpened)

4) cropping to get 1/3 - 2/3 framing
5) white border (like original photo)

Photoshop work: Adjusted levels in order to elimate the details in the background, selected upper -most dark- part of the frame and adjusted levels to save the details of the head and sharpened the whole frame.
