| Intro: | A Finnish girl lost, yet eternally found, in the middle of Europe and this beautiful planet. My parents have taken me along their journeys across this continent and beyond since my earliest age, dangerously infecting me with the travelling bug since childhood. After some years of hesitation I am finally finding some certainty in my photographic skills and love to use it as an excuse to go wandering around various lands and islands, always searching for something to share with the world. Enjoy! --- Back from my now almost six-month long trip in Asia. China, Japan, Tibet, Nepal and India treated me to worlds I'd never imagined, even though I'd already seen thousands of pictures from all these places. There is simply no comparison to being there yourself. I was lucky enough to enjoy Sarju's company for almost four months, which made India for example seem easy to get around in (which it really isn't...). Thanks to him I got to see places, meet people and visit homes I would never have been able to alone. Thanks to him things went smoothly when the road was filled with potentially lethal bumps. Now it's time to process thousands of pictures... it'll take time, but hopefully I'll be able to uproot some shots I deem worthy from that impossibly huge pile of frozen moments. Ah, us humans and our eternal quest to trap moments into re-playable formats... ;) | |
