- Hello! I picked up photography as a hobby four years ago. I guess I got into it because of my work in magazine publishing. As a writer, I found that having my own camera on hand was very convenient, especially when a professional photographer can't make it. Plus, I think I have the shutterbug blood in me because I really just like to take photos of anything. I'm happy that my mom got me a wonderful digital camera--though simple, not like those fancy digital SLR's--for my birthday three years ago, and it has served me well since then. So, if you have any comments about the photos I post, please do share them. The more tips (or criticisms) I receive, the better I improve.
