- I have been a photographer for about 45 years. As a teenager I had an Agfa 35MM which I loved to trek around Manhattan, especially at night. My first SLR was a Yashica TL Super with a 50mm 1.4 lens which exposed me to available light photography. My last film camera was a Canon and my first digital was a Nikon Cookpix, which consistently blew out all the details in the sky.
I have a Minolta DiMage 7i which I have mastered and love. My new baby, however, is the Sony A100, which I am learning to love.
I am an expert with Photoshop (CS) and have significant experience editing photography and digital photo processing, mostly in the editorial realm with some celebrity work. I do not practice digital photo manipulation (significant image content alteration), compositing, or digital/computer "art".
My background with digital images and image files (assets) includes serious work in both print and on-screen presentation, as well as high-level digital workflows from image capture to publication and distribution. I am not a Mac person; I am a PC guy.
