2. Color balance, -8Red, -1Green, -12Blue at Midtones
3. +14 Master Saturation, -16Saturation at yellow-green, -62Saturation at Ble Magenta

3. Sharpen 69%

I combine the two photos of yours. Keeping the lights from darken and shadows from lighten. I used layer mask with PS CS3. I don't be very careful, but you can see the diference i think.
Plus . . .
-23Red, -22Blue at Midtones (Color Balance)
+10Saturation at master
