In Photoshop, I used the clone tool to remove leaves in the bottom left corner. Also cropped to give a more panoramic feel. Hope you don't mind.

Decreased saturation a lot and worked with brightness, contrast and levels instead. Selected the hull and made it a bit brighter.
Cropped a little on the left to let the edge run between the islands. Cloned some bright points on the shore.

Destauration (-15 %) Notice the grass green, a bit milder.
History brush on the rainbow, opacity 25 %, to limit the loss of colours in this region.
Finally, magic wand on white areas (32 levels, non contiguous) and a curve with an input 128 and output 64.

Plus: more natural colours, a bit milder white.
Minus: the rainbow is "weaker", the roof of the house on the left appears too sharp. (Maybe on aon original with more pixels the effect is smaller)
