What did I do?

- In “Selective Color” I added some black and yellow to the colors blue and cyan in order to make the sky darker and I reduced a bit the magenta in the white color.
- I increased a bit the contrast.

The problem is that there is a halo effect around the cliffs which has increased due to my changes. I don’t know how to correct that ex post. It is something that you should have avoided when you did the first pp.

I copied and pasted, then translated upwards the frame from the bottom. Then I repeated the procedure with the frame from the top. After flattening the image, I cropped, and increased the size to make the vertical dimension 800, and sharpened the image. Finally, I saved for web at a quality. It took about eight minutes. Given a larger file size, and more time, this lovely composition could have been even more beautiful.

I'm not a whiz with photoshop, and I've got a prehistoric version, to boot. But I played with levels & curves, then took the contrast down a few notches. Perhaps someone with more expertise and better software could take the idea and improve on it (like not burn out the clouds, for instance). But I do love the pattern cast by the long shadows.. What do you think?

I have tried to create a Panorama picture. Additonaly I redused noise and increased the sharpness a bit.

I used a 20 tolerance on the magic wand tool to selectively sharpen the foreground +110, then applied overall contrast +4.

My idea is to soften the sharpness in the misty areas.

Doing away with the horizon ruined the depth of the shot in my opinion and I just couldn't do it. So I agree with Mike and Fluvio on that comment.

I refer to these apple tree ladders in my note but decided against posting because of the harsh light. It is not the compo I was hoping for either. There are a fair number of miscellaneous farm equiptment to the left, thus the unfortunate crop.
