- I live in Os, Norway. I hope that my new job will bring me to new places around the world. So far I've visited Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Japan with my new job. I hope to be able to see these places on my spare time, and to be able to share some of the images I capture with you guys and girls. =)
"When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silent." -Ansel Adams
I've recently moved back to Os, after having lived for over 7 years in the Stavanger area. I used to work as an aircraft mechanic, but on November 5th I start my new job at Frank Mohn as a service tech. Some of my friends are TE members: Dragonslayero, JonnyU , peco85
I got my camera back...again... Hope it works better this time...
"I can't sing, I can't paint and I can't write how I feel, so all I have left is photography to express myself." -Anonymous
3 years ago I bought a used SLR and have been hooked since. Just last year, after allmost 2 years of saveing up I got a digital SLR. I hope that everyone will give me constructive feedback, so I can learn, and improve my skills with the camera. (I really am a novice...) When I went to school my art teacher sayed that there is an artist in all of us, one just have to find ones way of expretion....
I allso hope to make new friends who share my interest in photography.
I do not travel much, but when I do I shoot lots of photos. I hope to afford more travels in the future.
My philosophy is that one shot may result in a good photo, but 100 shots may result in atleast one good photo. So for every uploaded photo there is at least 20 that I'm not to pleased with....How ever a photo that I'm pleased with some of you might consider less than average, so if you have any tips about how I can improve my photos, please don't hesitate to share.

"Photography teaches that how well you see has nothing to do with how well you see." -Anonymous
Other than photography, my hobby is Budo at the time I practise Kendo but I allso practise Ken-jutsu of wich i mostly practise Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto Ryu . Since I started my practise of martiall arts I've learned a quote that I think is fitting for martial artists and photographers alike: "A warior should only covet his weapons" Miyamoto Musashi .
"The word "politics" is derived from the word "poly," meaning many, and the word "ticks," meaning "blood sucking parasites.""
When I went to school in Os, my arts and crafts teacher Arne Meland sayed this: "Everyone has a creative side, one just has to find a way to express it." These words have followed me since then, and I like to think that I finally found mine. (Thank you for those words Arne.)
Please feel free to view and critique my photos at TrekLens and TrekNature as well. Or you can visit my sight
I'm currently in Japan, and will more than likely be here for work the next 3-5 weeks.
