- My love affair with photography began in high school while working on the yearbook staff. My first camera: A Nikon FE that served me faithfully until I finally abandoned film around 2005. Digital cameras were simply getting too good, memory prices kept falling, and computer hard drives getting larger.
Life and travels have taken me many places around the world — some are represented here in my photo gallery. I love to search for interesting angles and light conditions for capturing beautiful photos. As a hobby I enjoy pinhole photography, regressive but challenging, and a complete change from the total control and instant gratification granted of digital. For work, I am a graphic artist and digital workflow systems architect in New York City.
My website has several galleries of my photos from around the world — including Malaysia, the Galapagos Islands, Iceland, Hong Kong, Morocco, Africa, New Zealand, Argentina, the Baltic countries, and North America.
