Selected the blown out wall and darkened levels. De speckle. I thought the picture was a little faded, so I increased contrast slightly. I may have got a little carried away, as I saw some nice shadows coming through on the side of the room which she is sat in.

Increased overall levels, added frame.

Cannot see it in anything but b/w.

Of course, my b/w's are still crap, but I wanted to try. Would love to see Nono (fixed's) attempt at something similar.

I felt the colours were a little dull, so I just used contrast and increased levels. I also added a very subtle blue filter to emphasise that nice blue glass building in the background.

Its still a little cluttered, but I prefer it to the original.

I know how you love that umbrella, so I resisted the temptation to crop it out altogether...

hmmm...something just bothered me a little from the thumbnail. As we discussed, a little "clumsy", I felt. Perhaps you will totally disagree, but I chose to crop out the spaces at the bottom, to give a little more balance to the brolley. I also felt the colours could give a better mood. its a tranquil picture, so I wanted to emphasise the silence and reflection of the sunset in the water...
