Hi Michael, EXCELLENT moment to capture, great choice of B&W, just a slight horizon unlevel and composition disproportion, but not un-reparable. Leveling the image and putting the driver into the golden 3rd, plus using a softer white border makes this a shot I wish to have on my wall!

I tried another composition to get closer to the kitties. I also tried to soften the imge with a gaussian filter in PP.
That's just a try...hope you don't mind.

I did some color correcting and then saturated it heavily; I also used the blur tool to blur out most of the land except the two trees in the orignal, here I did not. where I lasso'd them and them sharpened them.

-made black and white
-cropped with tilt
-blurred his right side of his face with blur tool
-highlighted eyes and replaced color
-also brighten'd the contrast of the eyes to make them more brillant
