Intro: Up until recently my photographic exploits have been merely a point and shoot affair. But the thrill I get from taking a good snap has led me down the path of expanding my horizons and investing in a digital SLR camera. My main motive has been to enable me the opportunity to execrise greater control over the image captured, and in turn allow me to be a little more creative in the results I produce.

So far its been a very steep learning curve and boy have I got a huge amount to learn! I hope that by posting some of my images on this website I'll get some constructive criticism from more experienced photographers - and in turn I can provide my thoughts (for what they're worth!).

As of yet I don't have a particular genre that I can safely say I prefer - as long as it looks good I'm happy!

I look forward to giving as well as receiving criticism from the users of trekearth!
