Intro: I was fortuate enough to spend 8 months during the last 3 years tripping around Laos,Cambodia and Vietnam with the help of my partner Amanda an Australian government aid worker. I had lost the passion for photography but it was rekindled during my stint in Indochina.
My images are of people going about their daily business,,the Faces of Indochina.

I have totally fallen in love with Laos,,its people,the culture,the food..The Lao are the most friendly, laid back people in Indochina,,always welcoming and always willing to share what little they have..
Laos has a tragic history and rates as one of the 10 poorest countries in the world relying on foreign aid to survive..It is sparsely populated with magnificent scenery (especially in the north)..Tourism infrastructure is limited but cities like Vientiane and Luang Prabang have some of the best eateries in Asia..One can never forget the fabulous Beerlao beer :-;
Laos is truely a land of contrasts..

Update-- Amanda and I are moving to the Sichuan/Tibetan border China in early September 2007 to work. We will be based in the Garze region in a small town of Sertar. We will be there for 12 months plus.

At the moment marking time in Chengdu Central China.
