Intro: I am a novice at best, but in the past few months I have developed an incredible respect for photography. My Grandfather was a photographer in WWII and then with NBC, but with his passing, 100s if not 1000s of his pictures were handed down to me and my brother. I started to appreciate the thought that went behind each picture and the hidden beauty that a black and white picture can unleash. While I have utilized my father's Nikon (film) camera's I am still in the learning stages and using a Sony Digital. It's not much, but messing with the settings and figuring out the numbers, fstop, and shutter speeds...etc has helped me to progress toward the film.
