I know the quality is not too good. I did it using a Canon Ixus 50 digital pocked camera, without tripod, but I liked the night view of the Cathedral so much that I have also post it here to show it to you.

As I mentioned in my critique, I created a workshop for this wonderful image to see if I could pull out some of the details in the man. I work in Photoshop CS. I used an adjustment tool called Shadows and Highlights that both reduces glare in highlights and brings detail to shadows. Looking at the image I felt it needed a touch of Levels. I also made a single pass with Unsharpen Mask. See what you think Jaume.

I have made this workshop to show you what I mean about removing the silhouet and the I tryed a little crop too to make anothe balance... Not sure it worked so well... Last change is a frame only to see if it worked... Hope you like it...

These are the ancient ruins of the Basilica of Volubilis.
Viewed from the other side.
You can appreciate the great plain with green fields in the background.
In the capitol (the columns at the left side) it is possible to be observed two nests of storks in two of its columns.

I wanted to emphazise this opposition between winter and spring, so the first idea was to crop a bit of water to give a panoramic format.

Then an auto-balance of the colors, and a small warmify to bring back its color to the pavillion, as the strong light was a bit blueish.

Don't hesitate to tell me if you don't like it :o)
