my beloved A1 gave me fun and beautiful slides for about 25 years in which I have used many of the results in books and documentations. I wish I had the time to convert them to digitals but that is for after retirement.

When the kids grew out of the house and I was fed up with carrying the gear on my own my wife suggested digital cameras. I went for the tiny lightweight ones but never really got the hang of it although I had a dozen or so different ones. Now I only keep the old Ixus for romantic reasons.

Last fall I gave it another try with the Eos which was the digital twin of my old A1. I don't do as much as I did but I am gradually coming back to enjoying photography again. Maybe this site helps to re-establish the old interest.
