I've cloned the existing white halo, applied levels, curves, a slight contrast to the background, shadows/highlights and some sharpening.

To frame the image more to the left so the building is settled more on the thirds intesection, I've cropped the left and the bottom sides of the image and then I’ve applied levels, curves, shadows/highlights and, finally, a slight sharpening.
