- Hello Everyone,
I live in Mill Valley California, a small community north of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco. While we have lived in California for over 40 years, I am originally from St. Louis Missouri and my wife is from Istanbul Turkey.
My two favorite hobbies are genealogy and photography; both influening me to travel as much as possible, which gives me the opportunity to compose pictures. I am not a professional photographer but I do use my camera to express myself both on the job and off. I used to focus on landscapes, but for the last 10 years, I have found that no subject is to be avoided.
As soon as I learned of Trek Earth and its companion sites, I joined TE to get get some pointers and gain some friends with the same desire to record this beautiful world. I hope you will take the time to provide me with comments and helpful suggestions as some of you have. I am certainly trying to do the same. This site has some marvelous talent and I will try my best to learn from your examples.
