| Intro: | My name is Jim and I am a 6th generation Texan. I was born in the Piney Woods of East Texas(Lufkin) but lived in New Mexico, Colorado and Wyoming between the ages of 5 and 11. Except for a couple of trips to Arizona, California and Mexico I have been back in Texas ever since. I have lived in Galveston for the past 18 years because I am a beach bum at heart. I grew up surfin' and fishin' the Gulf Coast and saltwater runs through my veins. I have always enjoyed photography even though I drifted away from it for a while. It affects in a positive sense the way one looks at the World and helps one appreciate more the beauty surrounding us. I do welcome honest criticism of my photos and do appreciate all advise on how to improve them so don't be shy.
