- Hi TE friends!
Another year over and one year older, On December 15th, eight years ago, I became a member of TE so this is a special day for me.
I am glad that I am here to write another small intro. I have made a lot of friends along the way and perhaps some enemies too, but that's how the world is.
I celebrated my 70th birthday in September, and my wife calls me an old /young man, I'm not sure which i am!!!
TE is a family site where everyone's pictures have a place, all kinds of people, when we stand together we can be a very strong team. Everyone's character is different, so we have to be very honest and try the give each other a helping hand. I often see regular members getting into conflict with each other. Why? Remember that we are all flesh and blood and are only on this earth for a short time? Why not help each other and be friendly? Perhaps that way we will become better photographers?
I have written a lot of critiques since I retired but I don't have as much time as before. I want to take good pictures, ride my bike, dance, read, and sleep a bit too of course.
I don't want enemies on TE, I want friends, so I will always visit new members and if possible give my advice, but I am only one man and I don't have all the answers. Nobody need feel obliged to visit my gallery; everyone is free to do as they wish. I will always reply to visitors, perhaps a week later, but I will always go and see their pictures.
