| Intro: | Have you ever known anyone whose name means "Traveller"? My name is Ilghiz. In my mother tongue - Tatar - "IL" is "country" and "GIZ" is "walk". So I am travelling now. But I am travelling in a way which is not yet very popular. I believe that the best way of travelling is not moving from place to place. The best way of travelling is living in the place that you want to discover. I am from Naberezhnie Chelny, Russia. I have graduated from a teachers training university, English language department. Now I live in Izmit, Turkey, and teach English in a private school. I love this job because I see people grow up and I take a considerable part in their growth. Living in a foreign country helps me not only learn more about places but also learn more about people. When my plane was taking off in Moscow I knew hardly anyone in Turkey but now I have a lot of friends in this country. TrekEarth and TrekLens let me know even more people and epecially those who have the same passion for visual images as I have. P.S. I can spell my name in quite a lot of different ways depending on the language I'm using: Ilgiz, Ilghiz, Ilghis, Ilguiz, Ilguises... Even my native Cyrillic alphabet allows minimum two spellings. | |
