bisok (948) 2008-05-08 03:24:36Hi Michael
I tried to correct your interesting photo. I added a bit contrast, colours, sharpness and cropping.
I hope you find this changes interesting.
Greetings from Poland
hobbitenok2005 (149) 2007-10-27 21:24:08As there was complaint about underexposed skies I tried to darken it a bit using simple technique in Picasa 2 (by Google). It is graduated tint. You may see that workshop is also a little colder. Changed the temperature as my Tamron 17-50 while almost perfect lens is a bit into warm colors.
david (3992) 2006-04-19 03:17:02the higher you can get that parachute into the top right third the better it will look.
i only had limited space to work with (unless i cloned in some more sky, which i'm too lazy to do).
i also added some saturation. saturation is handy for emphasising colours.
lastly, i put in a frame. actually, i added the frame to accentuate the rule of thirds without adding sky! :)
hobbitenok2005 (149) 2006-04-01 03:57:35I sharpened the image a bit so it would not look out of focus when exported using picassa. Original one has a good DOF and major subjects look in focus even at 100% crop.
hobbitenok2005 (149) 2006-02-05 15:25:29Tried to do part of what Michelle has done in her workshop but on the original (large) image, then reducing size. In particular cropped the image, sharpened it a little with Arc.
digi-mom (1064) 2006-02-05 10:05:25... and a little crop too, to make the pier cut through the photo more symmetrically. Just trying to bring out some details in the birds and the reflections in the water. What do you think?
