- While living in Japan I realized that I would be taking many pictures to document my life abroad. I bought my first digital camera, a Nikon Coolpix 700, To fill this need. After 30,000 pictures, the CP700 was behaving increasingly eratically, giving me a good excuse to upgrade to my current camera, a Nikon Coolpix 5000. I have come to love digital photography for many reasons, although mostly because of the small size of the cameras and not having to worry about film.
My favorite photographic topic while travelling is food. Perhaps this was influenced by the beautifully presented food that I came across in Japan.
I am currently living in New Jersey and not taking as many photographs as I would like. - Member Since
