| Intro: | Just over 2 years ago, while on a short holiday to the west coast of Vancouver Island, I happened onto the Trekearth website while reading the book, “Photography for Dummies.” Little did I know where that little encounter would take me. I signed on to Trekearth as soon as we returned home, and the rest is history. My reading for “Dummies” that day was helpful, but viewing countless images, giving and receiving critiques, and making occasional contact with specific questions, has made me a far better landscape photographer. You have had a part in that and I am deeply grateful. The technical elements of photography are one thing, and admittedly what drives us all to a degree, but vicariously meeting so many of you along the way has sealed my commitment to the Trekearth family.
