| Intro: | 28 years old, Portuguese, moved to Beijing one month ago, still didn't have enough time to discover it, both in the real sense and in the photographic sense. Before I care about photography, photos served to show where I have been, how I was and with whom I was. I didn't understand artistic photograph. When I entered in TE, photograph was already something, a good landscape and a good POV. Now, photography is much more: - if it is to show something funny, to show it cleverly - if something serious, to show it with the correspondent mood - if a landscape, to show it entirely, not distractingly and enhance colours - if a portrait, it doesn't need to be original, but show why it is good - if a decisive moment, show it clearly - if architecture, show it originally And I still don't understand many of the artistic photograph... Also, I am not a professional, I am not a teacher and not trying to be an expert, and these are not rules or even perhaps correct premises, they are just the guidelines I feel I learnt with this website and am trying to follow (whether I succeed or not, that is another story...)
