| Intro: | How can this photography thing be so maddening and difficult? How is it that Argento can create art with moving images, such as a Raven's descent in an Opera house, and I can't even get a clear still photo of a FROG? Please don't misunderstand me-I'm not comparing myself to Maestro in any way, other than to exhalt Him, the genius, and to show my complete bafflement with my own inabilities. So it is said practice makes perfect-I have a picture of a freaking CRAB if anyone wants to see it...perchance some PALM trees? Anyway...I like to try, and hopefully I don't drive anyone to drink or otherwise with my banality. Coming to terms with your own faults and limitations is the first step. Please feel free to critique. By that I mean brutal honesty, if it contains advice. There is nothing more annoying here than good photographers patting mediocre ones on the head and awarding them their two points for posting photos that should have been deleted..That serves no purpose. Ego must be totally obliterated before an artist can BE. Before that...Be prepared for Frogs, Crabs, and more Palm trees...No, really. Maybe another cloud or two. |
