Hi Eugene,
When I thought about how I would get rid of the figure on the left, I came to the conclusion that I couldn't just crop it out because it would take the left swimmer too close to the edge. So I altered the image by using the Clone Stamp Tool in Photoshop to erease the unwanted figure. If I weren't doing this for a demo, I probably would have spent more time to make sure there was no trace left behind. For this, I just did it to show the possibility.

Lightened shadows by 17 %, darkened highlights byn58 %, increased midtone contrast by 27 % and increased saturation by 27%.
