- Intro
- Hey all, I've just bumped into TrekEarth and it seems like the perfect place to improve my very amateurish photography and to get inspired by other people's shots.

After a few weeks in TE, I have had tonnes of inspiration fron other people's photographs. I have seen truly amazing shots, different points of view, use of light, colour, etc. Masses of creativity. I've also had very useful critiques. The only tiny bit I don't quite like is the point system. I think it introduces an element of competition/ranking which is unnecessary as well as unsuitable in a place like TE. Seems a bit pointless, really.

October 2006
The academic year has started (I'm a university lecturer) and my daily schedule has had a suddent revolution. Unfortunatley I won't have as much time as I used to have for my TE daily doses (which I'm still enjoying greatly, of course), but I'll try and be more active during the weekends.
