| Intro: | Hello! I live in Washington D.C. area and work for an environmental consulting firm as a corporate senior scientist. Other than photography, I have many other hobbies and interests, and it is really tricky finding time to devote to these interests. I like traveling - my favorite country to visit is Guatemala. Also, I have always wanted to visit India. I also like gardening, and most of my flora pictures posted at TL was taken from my garden. I used to play a lot of tennis until some nagging injuries relegated me to play only sporadic mixed doubles. I love cooking spicy food for my close friends, entertaining at home, and listening to the music of Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald, Joni Mitchell, and REM. A favorite wise saying: “You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a fulltime informal school called life. Each day in this school you will have the opportunity to learn lessons. You may like the lessons or think them irrelevant and stupid. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial and error, experimentation. The ‘failed’ experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiment that ultimately works." I also post pictures, mainly flora and fauna, at TL. |
