when you see white halos like here, mostly visable on the edge between dark and light elements,
you could turn your sharpening layer to dark blending, duplicate it and blend to light this one for 30%
or you erase the edge with a soft eraser on onthe edges to original before sharpening, merg together and use opacity for the rigt setting, always seen at 200%
When some areas, refelcting the sky, are blown out you coud rectify by a quick select sky and transform in mirror over the blown areas ... go to original, quick select the light ares only, and copy-paste from the mirrored sky, now invisible the mirored sky and your areas are filled out with that from the sky, use opacity to adept.
Here I used the second tip and cloed out some white halo areas.
