 Street Festival Poster | cgrindahl

 Staff Photographer | cgrindahl
(6103) [2006-06-15 01:06:45] | | This was shot the first day of the festival. He's shooting with a 1 series Canon camera with an EF70-200 f/2.8L IS mounted. I saw him use many lenses and a second film camera during the two days. He clearly knew what he was doing. |

 Amateur Photographer | cgrindahl
(6103) [2006-06-15 01:03:49] | | He's shooting with Canon equipment. I'm impressed with bald men who walk around in the hot sun without concern for their scalps. He was intent on nothing but the images at his feet. |

(1703) [2006-06-14 10:17:34] [3] | Nothing more, to concentrate of the God-like act of creation and keep away any glimpse of the backstage paraphernalia.
Besides, I really like how the pants stripes are transformed into some kind of enigmatic graphic element... |

 Bloomworks Debris | cgrindahl
(6103) [2006-01-02 02:51:14] | | I posted a nightime photo of Bloomworks some time ago. Now the contents of the flower and gift shop are slowly being placed on the curb, either for cleaning or for disposal. You can see in the street some of the litter that remains. I greatly admire these folks for rolling up their shirt sleeves and digging into the mess, but I can't help but believe there will be much crying and grieving over the great loss they've experienced. |

 San Anselmo Flood (18) cgrindahl

 Shoveling Mud! | cgrindahl
(6103) [2005-12-31 19:57:00] | | This is San Anselmo Avenue that runs through the small central business district. Check out my portfolio for San Anselmo and you'll see many photos taken along this street. The creek is behind the buildings on the right. In the distance you see a small building housing a store called Paper Ships. The building was pushed off its foundation by the rushing water and will likely be demolished. Sidewalks are littered with stock dragged from the stores. The man dumping the wheelbarrow returned to the INTERIOR of the store to fill it once again. The street was lined with dumpsters being filled with what recently had been goods for sale but now is damaged refuse. There were many who came downtown to check out what was happening but many more who rolled up their shirt sleeves and got to work, including quite a number of teens. It is a sad moment in the town's history, but everyone is responding well. |

 Dog House... | cgrindahl
(6103) [2005-11-14 14:45:30] | | You can see the dog running along the driveway in the distance. The gardener shouted to tell me she was not vicious, but as I said, the wagging tail told me that as well. |
