I like the picture but since I'm currently working in Indonesia, I'm pretty sure that people do not have such a blue-ish tone of skin. It's a good picture, but probably inside w slave flashing.

I used a warming filter in PS CS2. After that I selected all the coloured parts on her clothing with the color range selection tool. Basically most colors, except skin tones, blacks and whites. After that I increased the saturation +15 on the selected.
The skin would have become a bit unnatural if it would also have been selected when using saturation.

Hi Campbell.
Really liked this picture of yours but thought the eyes needed to be a little sharper. hope you like it.

Open file, duplicate layer, on the 2nd layer apply the 'high pass' filter (Filter ->other ->High pass)

Now the image would look greyish, so change its properties from 'Normal' any of the three depending on how sharp you want the image (Overlay/Soft Light/Hard Ligh) i opted for overlay here.
(you can also add a layer mask to this later and burn areas you want to sharpen more)

Here is my version of the girl. Got rid of the blue in her hair, used unsharp mask, used curves to brighten the image, and cropped some off the top, using Photoshop 6.0.

I cropped it a little applied USM and added a frame.

first I duplicated layer and added a huge amount of unsharp mask.I then used neat image to sharpen and filter noise.I then reduced the opacity of this layer untill I found a nice compromise between sharpness and soft image.
