hummmmm well not as good as i had wanted... I ended up giving his beasrd a trim. had to after rotationg. I had wanted to rotate 5.61 degrees but it cut allot out of the beard after cropping so compromissed at 4 degrees rotation CCW and croped to fit.

1. shadow/highlights highlights=0% shadow=50% to try and fix some of the over exposed wall
2. neat image 80% low freq and smooth checked

about the same as what I noted in my notes about the photo. to recap. besides the obvious cropping. the rail istracted me a bit and the building on the far right seemed to pull my attention away from the boats and the light house so out it went....


1. set white point in levels on blue chanel
2. pulled red and blue about 10 to 15 points on the white point slider.
3. pulled the blue and cyan a little bit on the shadow point slider.
4. adjusted cureves just slightly in lab mode on lum chan with a three point S curve. middle point staying at 50, 50 white the shadow point at 25, 22 and the white point at 75 77
5. ran neat image over it at 80% with low freq adn smooth checked.....

1. set white and shadow points on blue chan in levels
2. adjusted color balance 7 13 14 on white point clider for red, green, blue and 8 10 12 on shadow for cyan, green, blue
3. contrast plus 8 points brightnes -4 points
4. neat image with smootjing turned on to try to add to the calm feeling by mellowing out the water.

rotated to be even with the far left line of the window but I was still off just a bit I think.

hummm levels set white and shadow points on blue channel. ran shadow/highlight (new in PS CS I think.) 20% shadow 40% highlight, neat image default with smooth image checked
