Intro: I am a 65+ amateur photographer living in Huntley Illinois. Huntley is about 45 miles North West of Chicago.

I have been interested in photography for most of my life, but didn't take is seriously till after retirement in 2003. At that time I bought a little point and shoot digital and I was hooked. A few years later I bought my Rebel XTi with the 2 lenses that were in the kit.

My goal on this site it to show people from around the world pictures of Chicago which I think is a very exciting town with end less photographic possibilities. At the same time I am looking forward to improving my photography skills from the many helpful comments provide by other photographers.

I have a long wish list of camera equipment, but I am happy making due with what I have. I try and make the best pictures I can with the equipment and software I have available.
