Hi Joanne,
as I mentioned, I wanted to reenforce the fading sunlight on the trunks of the tree. What I did here was to apply a layer fill gradient across, from left to right, with two colors of yellow and blue. I custom adjusted the colors. Finally, some contrast adjustment and framing.

To suit their sulking expressions and downward turned faces, I tried a hue desaturation to make the picture a little more heavy, solemn.

Montaged macro, invert colours. Which is better/ gives more impact to illustrate the tedious work the artist has put into the wall panel drawing.

A beautifully composed picture like this should not be noisy. So, I hope this helps. The blur is not all that important in my opinion here, because sillouettes don't need sharpening.

I cropped the sky away,
adjust levels to light up the picture and to decrease blue tones.

To make the picture stonger, I have crop it in top and bottom, + small frame to end it.

Took in 2 of the critic and made adjustments in photoshop:
- Crop tighter
- Magnetic Lasso plus Magic Wand to select girls
- Unsharp Mask filter appplied to sharpen girls
- Inverse selection
- Gaussian Blur filter applied to blur background
