Firstly I eliminated the frame, decreased the image to 750pixels, sharpened it by 50%, increased brightness and contrast just a little. Increased luminance 6% and colour by 5%.I like it as it makes the scene less sombre and focuses more on colour and the remaining light.But, as they say, to each his own. Regards. Klaudio.

In monochrome it just brings out the textures more. Also increased the contrast localy and used a litle bit of USM.

I do like your gallery! I'm wondering why you do not get more attention. Guess it has to do with growing into TE!

I do feel that some of your postings can do with a slight bit more sharpness. I did the following:

Unsharp mask, 150%, 0.3 pix, 0 treshold.
Edit-fade to lighter, 100% opacity.

Unsharp mask, 80%, 0.3 pix, 0 treshold.
Edit-fade to darker, 100% opacity.

I added these two sharpening options in an 'action' in photoshop, to do them quickly. Just try a bit with different percentages!

Hi Arif, surprised to see a Re-post. I think this photo is very special to you. So, maybe if I could contribute to it. I tried something:

* sharpened slightly.
* adjusted levels to have some light along the eyes, now the eyes and the wrinkles are a bit prominent.
* enhanced colors.

I saturated the colours a little as they looked a bit washed out. Also slight sharpening.
