As some of you talked about the sense of scale, here are a workshop I've done. So, the right and the upper left photos are just different perspectives of this place.
The building you can see on the left of both photos is a hotel you can see on the down left photo. These are indeed BIG rocks!

Well, I didn't see people leaving the bag and shoes there, but I saw this couple in that area. It seems to me that the lady has shoes on and that can explain probably why we just see a pair of shoes near the bag...
So, here is what happened there... :-)

Just to answer to our coleague Melody Garden (Mi Chen); she was wondering where did I take the photo, so in this WS I show the place; in fact I was more or less on the top of the rocks we can see at right, and you can see the same lighthouse that appears on the other photo. This WS was taken on the 23 January 2005, and the other one was taken on the 28 March 2004.

As I told you, this is Praça do Comércio, and here you can see some of this big and beautiful Christmas Tree.

This is just another view of the place, where there are lots of big rocks like these ones; I think they have a very special green, giving the place a very special atmosphere.
