Intro: I’m very happy to have discovered TrekEarth by pure chance. I love the fact that I can see ‘real’ photos of all these wonderful places - not just the ones printed in a tourist brochure.

I am not a good photographer. By joining and participating in TrekEarth, I hope share my images with others, and to build on and improve my photographic skills. There's a lot of amazing work on this website, and I hope to learn a lot from others here.

My fiancee Joanne and I (getting married in December 2006) have travelled to Thailand, Vietnam and are spending 6 weeks traveling through India for our honeymoon. I’ve travelled to Europe (mainly Croatia) on my own, also.

Both Jo and I are big believers in ‘culture shock is good’!

Our future travel/photography ambitions include Burma, Laos, Nepal, Tibet, Sri Lanka, South America and the African continent. Being a surfer and notorious beach-head, the Pacific islands are also on the to-do list at some point in the future (although, we’d probably better pay off our house and have some kids first!).
