annie (396) 2006-07-03 10:59:51I have blurred the surrounding area to try to give it a similar effect to a long shutter speed in camera. It's not quite the same but I'am sure you can see what it is I am trying to achieve.
annie (396) 2006-06-25 06:27:55I was unsure that a crop from the bottom would improve the composition to this image but i feel it has helped, although we have lost some of the wheat that had a great deal of detail.
annie (396) 2005-07-28 14:54:15Hi Kath as promised the workshop, I have used curves, the black point was moved a little more to the right and the white point was moved DOWN THE SIDE towards the bottom right corner this decreases the contrast, I think this helps the water and the cow parsley let me know what you think.
annie (396) 2005-07-03 11:39:56I have used curves to guve the image more contrast and then applied a gradient mask to the edges to darken them a little and finally a small border to contain the image. Hope you like it
annie (396) 2005-06-26 09:39:23This is the original unaltered image. For the final image I wanted to create a 'misty' feel. I did this by adjusting the background layer as normal copying this layer applying a gausian blur to the layer and then bklending this layer with the background.
